What is SAP Business Application Studio?

Business Application Studio (BAS) is a browser-based modern IDE that is used to build and deploy applications in BTP. BAS looks and feels like Visual Studio as it’s built using Code-OSS which is also the base for Visual Studio. BAS is primarily used to build SAP UI5/Fiori applications, SAP Mobile Services and SAP Cloud Business Applications and SAP HANA Native development. BAS Applications run on Cloud Foundry Environment.
